Following the retirement of one of our senior leaders, we are delighted to offer an opportunity to join our Corporate Leadership Team as a Strategic Director.
As one of three Strategic Directors reporting to the Chief Executive, you will help us ensure that we continue our ambitious plans, providing vision, direction and strategic leadership, focusing on the areas of Housing and Economic Development. You will be responsible for these key services, and the delivery of important projects and programmes and their contribution to the Councils corporate priorities.
You will work with a range of partners and stakeholders at a local, sub-regional and national level to promote and advance the Council’s objectives and be a trusted source of strategic advice to elected Members of the Council.
You will be confident in managing complex and challenging environments and workload in a political environment and you will also have high-level relationship management skills with a real determination to embrace the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Why work for us?
