Stir to Action, which publishes the magazine Stir and also supports community economic development projects, suffered a fire at their offices on July 7 which cost them £15,000 in magazine stock, office furniture, computers and paperwork.
They are looking for donations to help them replace the lost equipment, restock lost magazines and print their next issue.
In a statement, they said: ‘Staying on our print schedule is not only important for our cash flow, it’s also a symbol of our recovery and solidarity.’
They are also hoping to recall back copies of their magazine from their first issue in Spring 2013, to their 15th issue, Autumn 2016.
