Regeneration consultants AspinallVerdi has bolstered its team around the country with a series of new appointments.
Joining the Liverpool office, which is headed by director Andy Delaney, are Richard Grocott and Jessica Lowe (pictured).
Mr Delaney joined AspinallVerdi in the summer of 2019 and has built up a strong portfolio of work for a range of clients including SSE, Homes England, Torus, Wirral MBC, BDP and Mott MacDonald.
Mr Grocott spent four years in the Westminster office of Fylde MP Mark Menzies including working on support for a successful bid by Fylde Council for Kirkham to secure almost £6.3m from the government’s Future High Streets Fund and was also involved in the long-running issue of fracking near Poulton-le-Fylde.
Prior to this experience, he graduated from Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) in 2016 and having returned to his native North West, is completing his MSc in real estate at the university.
Ms Lowe graduated from LJMU with a degree in business management and is also completing her MSc in real estate at the university.
‘I’m delighted that Richard and Jess have joined the Liverpool office and I look forward to seeing them develop their careers in real estate,’ said Mr Delaney.
‘The political angle is a very important part of regeneration and planning, so Richard’s political experience is a really interesting addition to the company’s collective skill set. Jess has hit the ground running and will be a great addition to the team.’
In addition, joining the teams of chairman Atam Verdi and managing director Ben Aspinall at the Leeds head office of AspinallVerdi are Jamie Gallert and Emma Whiteley respectively.
Following nine years with the valuation advisory services division of global real estate advisors CBRE in Leeds, chartered surveyor and RICS registered valuer Mr Gallert has extensive experience of the commercial property sector in Yorkshire and the North East of England and the burgeoning Build-to-Rent (BTR) sector.
Before his time in Leeds, he worked in the London West End office of international real estate advisors Colliers International where he focused on development consultancy and valuation instructions.
Ms Whiteley is completing an MSc in real estate after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in geography.
The London office of AspinallVerdi headed by Parm Dosanjh has been strengthened by the arrival of Adam Baker and Morgan Grealis, who both joined the company after completing their MSc in Real Estate at the University of Reading.
‘The dedication and hard work of our staff allowed AspinallVerdi to emerge from the unprecedented challenges of the past year with a growing client base and bright prospects for the remainder of 2021, allowing us to create further career opportunities by recruiting these latest members of staff,’ said chairman Atam Verdi.
‘Ben and I welcome them all as key additions to our team as we continue to provide best-in-class levels of service to our clients in the public and private sectors.’
